Welcome to the Studio Art III Virtual Art Show!​

This year, students in Studio Art III focused on observational drawing and painting, refinement of technical skills, best studio practices, and the exploration of advanced level materials and processes. These explorations included graphite and charcoal drawing, pen and ink drawing, skeletal drawing, figure drawing, extreme scale and linear perspective drawing; as well as watercolor painting and linoleum cut printmaking. Assignments were completed with the intention of becoming an integral part of each student’s art portfolio.

Additionally, students were faced with the challenge of school closure and online learning due to COVID-19. We are proud of how our art students persevered through this challenge, and are happy to be able to share some of the art they made while at home!

Student artworks are separated and grouped by lesson in the menu – simply click on the lesson name and you will be able to scroll through the corresponding artwork! To protect student privacy, names are not attached to individual artworks.
